Veriscope, Shyft Network’s Travel Rule solution, is getting ready for a mainnet launch with integration from some of crypto’s largest exchanges and VASPs. To get the compliance and crypto community prepared for the big day, we published a primer article on why Veriscope is the best Travel Rule solution out there.
Make sure to stay connected across our blog and social channels as we continue to publish more informative content on Veriscope and how its ability to solve the FATF “Sunrise Issue” makes it the strongest industry solution for CCOs and VASPs alike.
In an exciting milestone for the crossroads of crypto and the traditional legal industry, global law firm DLA Piper and digital asset creating platform TOKO will join the Shyft Federation and begin formally attesting to the Shyft Network blockchain. Read the full news here.
Additionally, through the partnership with DLA Piper, TOKO will also become a federation member for Veriscope, meaning that parties can establish data sharing rules and meet the multi-jurisdictional requirements necessary for adhering to global standards, including the AML/KYC requirements of the FATF Travel Rule, while simultaneously adhering to GDPR and other data privacy guidelines.
Speaking of milestone cross-industry partnerships, last week, we announced that Worldpay from FIS, the world’s largest payments processor, will also become a member of the Shyft Federation! Worldpay will be running some of the federation nodes used by Shyft Network to validate transactions and provide data attribution. Moving forward, Worldpay will also be involved in Veriscope.
“It’s about how we bridge the crypto world and the traditional world,” said Shyft co-founder, Joseph Weinberg. “Having institutions like DLA Piper or Worldpay being able to cross-verify these types of entities really helps establish on-chain trust in ways that we’ve never seen before.”
