Welcome to Shyft Dev Deep Dive, the monthly update on Shyft-wide features and technical changes.
Not only did we onboard KnowYourVASP.io as a verifier on Shyft Network in February, but we also made significant progress on two major initiatives, which we will be releasing in the coming weeks:
(i) Support for Multiple Trust Anchors (MTAs)
(ii) Veriscope Infrastructure as code (IaC)
Overall, February was a busy month in terms of development activities and initiatives, which will help us deliver several advanced features and technical updates for Veriscope users.
As always, if you would like a demo or have any questions, please email us at [email protected].
With the Support for MTAs, Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) will be able to deploy a single Veriscope instance and run multiple trust anchor accounts simultaneously.
This will be particularly beneficial for VASPs that operate several entities and service providers with a clientele that includes 100s of individual VASPs.
Using AWS, Terraform, and Ansible, Veriscope infrastructure as a code will streamline the provision of infrastructure for Veriscope Servers and the installation of Veriscope on them. It will also make it easier to run Veriscope and maintain/update it with each new release.
Besides the above-mentioned initiatives, the Veriscope Product & Engineering team is also working on several other crucial features and activities, such as:
(i) Enabling VASPs to upload deposit addresses so Veriscope can auto-respond to attestations.
(ii) Browser SDK capable of listening and auto-responding to attestations.
(iii) Integration with two leading Service Providers.
(iv) User Signing for unhosted wallets.
We will also publish an external roadmap next week. It is currently under review.
By working on several development initiatives and activities simultaneously, the Veriscope Product & Engineering team showed that we are committed to upholding user experience at all costs. And we will continue striving for it.
That’s it for today. Stay tuned for next month's update, where we will share more exciting developments and updates.
